Rated regarding US efforts, Abdul-Salam said:

“The United States consider a major part of the war on us, not a mediator and can not do so, and after a thorough knowledge of the actively undeclared consultations US remains the one who runs pettiness of things and major things as well and intervenes in the precise details even at the level of protocols and logistic services, US seeking to improve her own image as the adopting thoughts of peace of the United Nations, while US in fact the main responsible of killing Yemeni people and besieged, also US who runs and sets the United Nations activity.”

In addition Abdul Salam said “any international discussion to any part to interfere in Yemen’s affairs would not be acceptable and who make ideas for resolving are Yemenis themselves, not America or Saudi Arabia nor the UAE and we do not mind any constructive contribution for solutions through the UN process and to serve the higher interests without the interference from the parties that involve in killing Yemeni people and besieging them, that is a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and sovereign decision of the Yemeni not only militarily but politically, economically and humanly as is happening today across the economic blockade and the prevention of Yemeni citizens from traveling and blatant interference in shaping the future of Yemen.”
